Alloy LED, a leading designer and manufacturer of premium quality LED tape lights, is pleased to announce the launch of Surfa 8, a low-profile, surface-mount aluminum channel providing hot-spot free illumination when paired with nearly all of the company’s tape lights. 

At only 1.14 inches wide and 0.64 of an inch in height, the Surfa 8 channel accommodates 43 Alloy LED tape lights, including those for wet location and RGBW applications. A patented aluminum construction design features countersunk hex hardware, providing a clean, modern look for both indoor and outdoor commercial and residential spaces.

“We have thoughtfully designed the Surfa 8 channel to accommodate nearly all widths of our tape lights to provide a high-quality lighting solution delivering superior performance,” said President Joe Flynn, Alloy LED. “The Surfa 8 is shipped in 4- and 7-foot kits, but with our built-to-order program, we can offer complete fixtures ready to install.”

Providing even illumination from a premium frosted lens/diffuser cover — eliminating unsightly hotspots — Alloy LED offers the largest selection of tape lights with a 95+ color rendering index and high R9 and R13 values for exceptional color quality.

The 4- and 7-foot kits include one field-cuttable aluminum channel with a snap-in lens, a two-pair pack of aluminum end caps with screws, mounting clips with screws, and an allen key for complete and easy installation. The chosen Alloy LED tape light – or other compatible tape light – is purchased separately or included as a complete fixture as part of our built-to-order program. 

The UL Listed channel has a thermally balanced design to ensure maximum cooling and exceptional performance. Optional power supplies and controls are available.
